Hot chair balloon

A man has flown 235 miles in a garden chair tied to 150 helium balloons.

Kent Couch tied the balloons to his chair with the plan of flying away from his home state in the US. Couch ended his nine hour flight by bursting the balloons with a pellet firing BB gun and a blow pipe loaded with steel darts

The attempt was his third, after he was forced to parachute out of his first in 2006 and his second attempt fell just short of the state line in 2007.

For ballast, Couch used canisters filled with fizzy drink and while flying he took chocolate and boiled eggs to eat.
