Mexican police are hunting hitmen who advertise their services on the internet.
Adverts offer killers for as little as US$6,000 - one posted on a general homeware and apartment rental site, read: "ex-military hitman, professional and discrete."
The post went on to promise "job guaranteed in 10 days or less. I have worked in Spain, only serious offers, $6,000."
Another advert reads: "Hitman - Killer for Hire. Problems with a certain person? Want it taken care of? Write to me. I am 100 percent professional and don't charge in advance."

Mexican police are taking the adverts seriously and have launched an investigation to find the posters. Mexico has a huge problem with drug cartels and inner city gangs, which have left 1,700 people dead in the first half of 2008.
