Two Mexican rock bands are to perform the highest concert in history, at 9,000 feet.
The show will take place on a plane cruising at high altitude in October. Sixty fans will get the opportunity to rock out in mid-air to bands Molotov and Zoe, as they fly above the city of Guadalajara.
The hour and a half concert - titled 'Flight Zero' - is an attempt to make rock the highest flying musical genre, and beat the current height record - set by funk band Jamiroquai in 2007.
Huido, a member of controversial rap-metal outfit Molotov said: "We want to play without any pressure to see how it feels."
We want to play without any pressure to see how it feels.
Organisers could not confirm if headbanging will be permitted aboard the flight.
