You should be allowed to wear what you want in school. I always wore a skirt as we had to as part of our uniform. tights when it was cold socks in the summer.

Why not just turn one leg inside the other and put both your legs into one trouser leg? Instant hobbleskirt! Long and tight! Wear with a long top and no one will know what you did. As a youngster , I did this all the time.

Thats an interesting concept turning trousers into a skirt! That would be a very tight skirt!

Wow! Even if you found trousers with enough stretch or wide enough legs that you could fit both legs into one trouser leg, you wouldn't be able to walk in it it'd be so tight!

What do you do with the extra fabric at crotch level? Just hope your top covers it up?
I love flared skirts, flowing skirts, flounced skirts, even tight skirts, but always long skirts.

You can walk with both legs on one leg, i do it all the time i brought a size 24 pair of jeans and made a skirt out of one leg, then wear a flaired skirt over the top, the feeling of hobbling whilst no one kows is fab, though some times it is hard to do some thimg simple lke walking up stairs.

Ah, you made that skirt. That seems as if it would produce a better result than just turning one leg inside the other. How much does it measure around the hem?

My tightest skirt is made from ribbed jersey tube skirting fabric, folded double for extra pull. It measures 21 inches all around, but being jersey it stretches quite a bit when you need it to.

I can well believe it! Your skirt sounds as if it's at least as hobbling as my tight skirts. What kind of reaction do you get from other people? They see you in a flared skirt, so do they wonder why you're hobbling?

Hi Buffyfan, I know it was some time ago but kudos to your sister and her friends to their skirt wearing experiment! I remember the first time I saw a fellow student in hose (at my school the girls had to wear skirts with white socks) I nearly blew a gasket! I'd walked past this girl many times without a second glance. She was quite pretty but still just a girl. I remember when I saw her wearing her skirt with hose and no socks thinking 'wow!!!' as she seemed to have turned over night from some skittish school girl into a young woman. Who had great legs! Mind you, I've always been a pantyhose fan. If I'm in a pub or at a club and there are two girls standing at the bar, I will always buy the one with the hose on a drink and try to get to know her!

school skirts

The problem with school swhich allow girls to wear trousers is that the girls look so scruffy in them.Girls look far smarter in skirts and tights.I have insisted that my 3 daughters wear skirts and black tights to school even though they have the option of wearing trousers.

Hi Luke_upwards. It sounds like it would b a bit dangerous wearing a short skirt around u but i will pass on your complement 2 my sis anyways. She has pretty much given up wearing hose 2 school bcause it was just getting 2 expensive but she still does 4 special occasions. :D They can b such a pain in the ass sometimes :!: Another misshap of my own making happened last week. I had on my nice black pantyhose and decided 2 eat lunch at my desk bcause i was 2 busy 2 go out 2 lunch :( So i coudln't finish all my lunch and decided to wrap up the rest 4 later in foil. I bent down 2 get the foil out of our kitchen cabnet and bumped the box with the foil up against my leg. It hit on the part u use 2 tear the foil off. Instant run and embarassment  Fortunately i was able 2 make it 2 the ladys room 4 a change b4 anyone noticed. Then i had 2 go threw the rest of the day worrying about running that pair 2. But u can c y more girls maybe don't wear them bcause of the constant replacement cost and how easly u can b embarassed by them. My little sis was going threw about a pair every day she wore them so that's y she quit.

Hi Buffyfan, now, you see that's where I would be a cheap date, as I actually prefer the look of cheap pantyhose, about 15 denier, as they are normally the ones with the slightly darker tops and single seam. I'm not really into these super shiny ones with cotton bits etc. Just cheap and cheerful, 1 dollar for a pack of 5 of the things! Nothing more exciting than seeing that single seam! I seem to remember in the Buffy episodes that all the girls wore short skirts, and am disappointed to find out by reading your sis's posts (glad she picked Dawn and not Willow!) that it's not true! Don't believe everything you see on tv then! Best regards, Luke
