Yes for work and for special occasions but not all day every day. You will end up feeling resentful eventually.

Whatever you do, make sure its YOUR desicion

And be careful - if he really loves you he'll love you for yourself, not how you dress
I do wear dresses sometimes but only when 1 want to - I'd never allow a man to tell me how to dress, or anything else for that matter.

Tomboy in skirts

Postby Mixed_up_Miss on Wed Oct 01, 2008 10:05 am

My boyfriend took me shopping on Saturday and picked out 3 dresses and 3 skirts for me in just one shop and in under an hour. Typical male attitude to shopping I suppose!

As soon as we got home he told me to change into girdle and stockings, my new blue dress and high-heals. He was very excited but it’s been a long time since I had a skirt swishing around my legs and I felt a bit weird. It did make me look VERY different.

When he took me out last night he told me to wear my black pleated dress. I was shy and vulnerable in public but he was ultra-protective and made me feel special. I was very, very aware the whole evening that I was wearing a dress. I guess that we did look kike a proper couple and I did look like a “proper girlfriend”. He seemed more relaxed and more accepting. My wearing the dress shows we are different but brings us closer together if that makes any sense.

I offered to pay my share for the clothes but he won’t accept any money. He told me to “pay” him with housework. I’m no domestic goddess but he has given me my chance to prove that I can make a good contribution in the home.

I didn’t anticipate how restrictive a narrow pencil skirt would be - it really limits my ease and freedom of movement, particularly when worn with high heals. My girdle is surprisingly comfortable – I feel very “held in” – although the straps and buckles do become galling after a few hours particularly with a tight skirt. The garters are fiddly and annoying but the stockings themselves are pleasanter to wear than tights.

We have come to an agreement on hosiery – I’ll wear my girdle and stockings at weekends and whenever he takes me out, I’ll be free to wear tights at all other times.

He has really taken charge – he is taking me shopping in a week or 2 for more dresses and skirts, including the skirt outfits I’ll wear to work.

This is another pencil skirt – it’s the one I’m wearing at the moment (over tights).

He also chose this frilly skirt which I find a bit embarrassing.

I like the clothes your BF picked out for you (except for the frilly skirt).

How do you feel about wearing them? My wife and I have the same disussions about clothes, so maybe I should buy here some clothes as well.

Wow he really has got into this. Looks like he has spent a lot of money on you. Can I ask, is he saying from now on you will always wear skirts or dresses, or do you just wear a skirt or dress when you go out. Looking back you don't live together right, so when you are on your on do you go back to trousers?

Also what do you wear to work, has he changed your work clothes as well?

So what do you prefer stockings or tights? Or what does he prefer?

Final question - are you happy with the changes?

IMHO you would be better off with just a garter belt than a full girdle, or is your boyfriend insisting on a girdle?

Wouldn't wear one if boyfriend was pressuring me. I'd find someone else who liked me in what I wear. And you can look sexy in anything. People find people with no clothes on attractive, so clothes mean nothing.
