PLEASE help me..i had sex at my friends 16th party on saturday while i was on my period but he didnt use protection, i came on heavier the day after. now i have brown-ish discharge but im not sure if its just from my period or if im pregnant..please help me..am i pregnant? im only 15 and i dont know what to do i cant tell my parents but i was wondering if there was something i could take if i was pregnant..i dont want a baby yet!!!

I doubt you would show symptoms this soon but it is unfortunately too late for the morning after pill.

There is a lower chance of conceiving whilst on your period but it isn't 100%. To be honest, I am not sure whether you would have to wait for your next period for a test, you will have to see your GP, they will give you all the advice and support you need.

Thank you..il wait untill my next period..im definatly not pregnant if i come on right? but im on the pill as well and im not sure if that would make a difference..i wasnt on when i had sex obviously..but if i dont come on my period next time, will it be too late to have an abortion? and how can i tell my parents i dont want them to know

If you have been taking your pill correctly, there shouldn't be a problem, its about 97-98% effective.

Plus, you would have to seriously be unlucky to fall pregnant on a one night stand whilst on the pill. Try not to worry though because stress can delay it also.

I thought you said you had sex on your period? Either way, it is the lesser likely time to fall pregnant, its usually 2 weeks after your period where its most likely.

i wasnt on the pill when i had sex..i was on the week break..but i didnt know if that would change anything because im back on it now..

but thanks..il wait till my next period and see what happens..if i dont come on though am i pregnant? and what if its really light?

I am certain you are covered for that break. Try not to worry too much, its highly unlikely really given the circumstances but I am no doctor!
