COME DO THE DANCE OF LOVE WITH THE NEW FIESTA
On 30 September Ford will launch the all-new Ford Fiesta in a spectacular Tango extravaganza at the Tower of London.
At 6.30pm pulses and carburettors will be racing as stunt drivers use the new Ford Fiesta to perform a unique Tango dance, specially created by choreographer to the stars Paul Harris and international stunt driver Paul Swift.
Strictly Come Dancing winner Mark Ramprakash and Tango troupes from across London will shake the foundations of the Towers as they too join the performance and Tango to the sounds of the 20-piece live orchestra.
BeyondBoyle, of Dragon’s Den fame, will be offering Tango themed cocktails and canapés to the celebrity guests at the VIP bar and Guest DJ Mat Horne will ensure the dancing continues long after the Tango has finished.
The event is completely free and the public will be able to watch the entire event, enjoy the live orchestra and the fireworks display from the main Tower concourse – they can even join in some of the Tango dancing if they’d like!
Prior to the evenings event the public will also be able to enjoy an open-air exhibition of Fiestas past and present displayed within the Towers Courtyard.
Strictly Come Dancing winner and cricketer, Mark Ramprakash says: “I am really looking forward to dancing again at the launch party of the year, especially with such a different partner. Even though the Fiesta has curves in all the right places, this is one partner I really don’t want treading on my toes!”
Ford of Britain’s Fiona Pargeter added, “We created the new Fiesta with a real passion and we’re confident that it’s is the car the nation is about to fall in love so what better way to launch it than with our cars doing the dance of love – the Tango! It’s a really exciting event and I can’t wait to see Mark and our Fiesta’s turn the Tower of London into the Tower of Love with our Tango extravaganza.”
