I totally agree with Will and Jada!! It is not natural for a man to only one woman for the rest of his life. Its like eating at the same restaurant everyday--FOREVER!! Sounds good doesnt it?!? Ask one that does not sleep with you. That way, he does not have to lie to you.

Keep in mind that marriage is a 2000-plus year old institution created for people who barely made it to the age of 32. It was designed to ensure the proper up bringing of offspring. After the child bearing age you must ask what is the purpose of commitment.Today we live twice as long, the whole institution has to be re-thought out. 2000 years ago there was a purpose to have fidelity and that was to not have offspring all over the place but there is no natural purpose for it after the child bearing years ? Therefore it's wrong for Will and Jada beacuase there is still children to be raised.

Happily ever after is accomplished however those who make that vow determine it. It seems many are missing the point. They have professed to being open in that they will converse about feelings and attractions to other people and ask permisison if they can't fight the feeling. But they have not acted on this. It's almost like reverse psychology. What's not forbidden isn't such a big deal.

Very smart to speak with couples about what's not working. It may have even been of assistance to these couples who have sat with Will and Jada,a loving, married couple to speak of their marriage with. This may have opened their dialogue in ways that were not there before.

The concept of "open marriage" completely eludes me. If bed-hopping is the way to remain married then the union should be dissolved posthaste! It's already DEAD.

Oh and before some dimwit thinks to chastise me? I'm 46 and have been married for 26 years and have been ONLY with my current husband since he was 16 and I 17. See? It's possible but you'll have to rise above kowtowing to your baser needs, and evolve.

If we can do it with no particular higher education or religion, so can everyone else. So stop making excuses. Just be honest and say you want the safety net of a family and home life but variety in sex meat every night too. Sorry but I ain't got no sympathy for the egocentric and self-aggrandizing.

I've always believed that two consenting adults can do whatever they want as long as it doesn't involve lies or violence.

However, now I have another reason to dislike Will Smith, who I think is a self-centered jerk. The two of them strike me as selfish hypocrites, and maybe that's how they're comfortable living. I think they're idiots.

Hi Ich, not trying to lecture you because you are grown. but news flash. Every man cheats. Either you know about it are you don't. But please don't think for one minute that your husband has been faithful to you all these years. I was married for then years, my ex and I started dating when we were in middle school, had 3 kids and he cheated on me several times plus he had a bonus child. The last time he cheated was with the women he's with now which is his new wife and guess what? he's cheating on her. I get approached by married men all day long who treat there wives like queens, looking at them I would not have thought they would cheat are attempt to cheat. Those women walk around looking crazy because they think they have him all to themselves, when everyone else knows that's not true. the wife is always the last to know. Let's not judge less he be judged. You are a christian. Out of all the people that I know I could probably name two men who have not cheated on there wives And then maybe they have but were good at it. I say if it works for them (Will and Jada) then let them do there thing.
