I shave my face cos i dont want a beard,
And i use bodyspray, so i dont have to shave my armpits.

Isn't all this male feminism going a little overboard, next we'll be wearing pink dresses and the women will have beards.

Fair enough if thats what you want, i dont - thankq:)

Nothing changes the smell, other that a good shower and clean clothes... bacteria on our sweat is what smells... not the sweat and not the hair. Shaving it all off does not stop the scent. One still sweats and bacteria is still there. Soap and water, and regular showering is the mode. Unless you know more about biology. Nuf said.

Gay. Gay. Gay. Gay. It is just gay!

Sorry, but that is gay.

Oh, did I mention how gay that was? Yes, gay.

Just...

GAY

And so if it is their choice- it is not your business! No one would ask you to take it up the ass.. so uptight--- eat more fiber and relax.

I have been clipping mine short for several years now, but this weekend I am going to have them waxed when I am in for a brazilian. I feel that clipping the hair short definitely helps with sweating and odor. I'll see how I like them being completely smooth.

This post just demonstrates your ignorance in that you very obviously have never tried it. I have. True, one still sweats, and bacteria is still there. BUT, the sweat collects on the hair, the bacteria have probably 1000 times more surface area to be on, and multiply, and feed on the sweat, so the ultimate result is a great deal more body odor for a given activity with a hairy armpit as opposed to a shaved one.

The one thing that continues to confuse me is how is armpit hair "Manly"? Consider that unshaved, men and women both have armpit hair, what is "manly" about it? Chest hair maybe is manly, or face hair. But, not pit hair!

There is nothing sexy about hairy under-arms. They are rather disgusting. Shave them!

As a guy, I've started TRIMMING my hair and to be completely honest, I think I look much better. I'm a pretty hairy guy and I've started trimming everywhere, my legs, my private area, and my armpits. My girlfriend has even complimented me on that. For the hairy guys, trimming is a definite must. But don't shave it all off! If you're not overly hairy, I wouldn't worry about it.

I don't have to shave very much as i don't get alot of hair, not to mention i am blonde so its not very easy to notice. I DO shave my armpits and i prefere a clean face. I don't see this as a gay thing to do, and by training activly my body and having a broad build/shoulders i can get away with doing it and still keep this so called "Manly" thing going.

The reason i shave my armpits is becose it looks better (In my opinion) I look more fresh, And when i walk around without a shirt (Which i do alot) I don't want to have hairy armpits to show. Also it feels incredible good and fresh, And i do smell less after training/ Running.

I don't think you should put a sign on someone saying "Gay" if that person shaves, Its a personal thing. And if a person with hairy armpits is a "manly man" then i'll gladly just be a man.

And it dosn't matter if a woman complains or not, I'll shave my armpits and thats my choise. If she can't handle that then she can be on her way out the door.

I think from a woman's point of view, armpit hair is very masculine. I think it should be trimmed though, a nice little tuft is very sexy. a bush a turn off!
