tattoos often look good on a physically fit man. however most tattoos on men reflect poor taste in the decorative arts. tattoos on the unfit seem to accentuate their unhealthy lifestyles. tattoos on women do not enhance their looks, even though many think that they do. women have even worst taste in tattoos than men have.

Why is it that everyone labels you when you get a tattoo. I have a few of my own and you know what I also have an older brother that is in prison and yes he has gotten a few tattoos in there but it is not gang affiliated. My brother gives and gets tattoos and its just to show his creativity. He has drawn all of his tattoos and all of them mean something like he has one for family, one for our grandmother who raised us, he doesn't have a single one that is meant for anything stupid. And why is it so bad, just because you are in prison doesn't mean you are a bad person. My Big Brother is in there for something that any one of us and many of us do- do. Stop being so judgemental. This is just as bad as racism for color and we are in the 20th centery dont you think its about time to end all of it. Find something better to do with your life then judge others, unless you have nothing better to do with your time, then thats just really sad.

Tatoos are in 99% cases devaluing the womans looks.

When I surf the internet for hot women, I skip the tatooed.
Actualy if I see a hot women with a tatoo I think "darn, what a waste"

It doesn't. You cannot tell me that you have never done anything illegal. The only differance is some people get caught. My brothers deal was that an off duty police officer was drinking and driving and t-boned my big brothers car and my 3 friends that were with him died. The only reason my brother was even charged was because the other guy was an officer. Not to mention he was unconcious and lost all memory and didn't even know he was in an accident, they read him his rights when he was in a coma and in critical condition. You can't tell me that- that is not f*cked up. I have tattoos, I know many people that do as well and you know what, just like me they are at home wives and mothers. Having a tattoo doesn't say anything about the person, its what they have as a tattoo that does. If they are advertising a pitch fork than that is one thing. But just a tattoo alone is no reason to judge someone. Thats like saying that only gay people can get AIDS, thats not the case at all, stop stereotyping people. I am sure that there is a ton of stuff we could pin on you to categorize you as someone that belongs in prison. Why don't you find something better to do with your life than judge others.

I grew up in a family where my father would always make comments about people with piercings and/or tattoos. Hearing these comments growing up, I never had the desire to have tattoos until after moving out on my own. Having a few friends that have tattoos, I finally realized that even "normal" people can have tattoos, and guess what, it didn't change who they were!

I am now the proud owner of 5 tattoos, 3 of which are quite large, and will probably add more as time and money permits. I have grown very fond of tattoos and the meanings behind them. If thought out and done tastefully, they "enhance" the look of the individual. Most tattoos simply tell a story about the individual who wears them.....from a tribute to a family member or friend, to that of their personal journeys in life.

Just as with everything else, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Remember, you may not like a person's individualism shown through their tattoos, but also remember, they may not like your personal individualism through your choice of clothing!

By the way, my father has come to appreciate my tattoos and doesn't view me any different now that I have them.

I have come to find out that women love my tattoos and I find them very sexy on women.

Why are some people such F****** cocks? Why can't you celebrate your differances instead of knocking people down for it. Nothing is wronge with tattoos. Your just an ignorant asshole.

A good point is being made in this topic. The idea of "celebrating differences" is based on the foolish notion that all differences should be repected. But that's total nonsense. What's to celebrate about muslim terrorists, diseased homosexuals, belligerent minorities, unemployed pot-heads, or tattooed criminals? People with those kinds of differences are just a pain in the collective arse! Put them to sea in a canoe with 3 days rations and let's be done with them!

Thats the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Who are we to judge anyone. No one is perfect and we definatly don't have the right to say who is and who isn't worth living. Let people live there own lives. My husband is deployed right now in Iraq, you think that this hole muslim thing hurts you, try being 9 months pregnant and not having anyone by their side. Its hard, but you know what I still do not judge them. It is not my place, I am not religious but I do believe that everyone has a judgement day when they die, and it won't be made by us. Nothing is wronge with a tattoo. It says who you are, creatively. And as for diseased homosexuals, you make me sick, they are still humans, I have no problem with them what so ever, I do when it comes to the ones who knowingly spread it without telling but anything else is not my place. This just goes to show what kind of person you are, hateful, you think you are better than others when in all reality you are the same if not worse. All of you people make me sick, I rather make friends with an infected homosexual, a con, a drug attict, a muslim terrorist, and anyone else who fits that area than know someone like you.

judging others

What a silly idea! Only the village loser is unable to judge others. If you, like Canadide, can't judge people, how are you going to avoid being victimized by perverts, criminals, h0mos, and psychopaths?
