ODN- he is so absolutely adorable... sigh... it makes me (almost) want to have another one  He really is a sweetheart!! and 6 weeks old already!! Time really does fly! I always breastfeed from both sides in a feeding (I hate feeling lopsided and I'm from the "old school" BFers... years ago that was what we were told to do but I know that nowadays they're saying feed from one side per feeding so that baby for sure gets the fattier hindmilk) Niklas was and still is a really fast drinker. He never drank more than 5-7 minutes from one side and then another 5-7 minutes from the other side. Now he'll sometimes only drink a couple of minutes from each side. If you're expressing though, let him drink from one side and express from the other side. I've never expressed milk but I do know from other moms who have, that that is what they do. I just find breastfeeding so convenient that the few problems that come up once in awhile still don't put a damper on my enthusiasm for it (especially not having to get up in the night to prepare a bottle! and travelling and daytrips are so much easier to pack for when you don't have to think about preparing, packing and how to sterilise bottles while travelling!) If you ever have any questions feel free to ask.

Ziggy - Well I think what I'm going to do, house or no house, is go off my BC the end of December/start of January and see if I can 'surprise' hubby with a BFP. We are both really wanting another baby as our babygirl is going to be 8 in December   lol

Cheryle - Girl you made me cry with the Spirit Baby story!!! I MC'd when my daughter was 18ish months old, I didn't even know I was pregnant before I miscarried so I think my mother was more upset over it then I was but that story just about made me start sobbing, it was beautiful!

ODN - HE IS JUST SO CUTE!!!! You are one happy/proud momma and for good reason! Very happy to hear you are BF'ing him, KUDOS to you! And thanks for the support.... I'm doing my best to be supportive and helpful but every time my s-i-l has come over so far I've had to excuse myself and ended up crying in the other room.
:?

TRS - WOW! 15 weeks huh? It will go by so fast and so slow at the same time :) My daughter loved to kick her foot out on the left side of my belly and slide it up and around to the right ALL the time... you could actually SEE her food moving up and around.

countrydiva - grats on your BFP

Well we just got our power back on after 3 days w/ out after a MASSIVE wind storm here. Glad all you ladies are doing well.

Natalie- your baby bump is adorable and the pictures are lovely! Did you get married on a beach? It looks very beautiful as does the bride! I was emotional during my pregnancy too... anything had me bawling away and my hubby found it so cute which made me only cry harder.

ODN, Foolsgold- I'm glad you liked the spirit baby story... I cried when I first read it too. It's just such a beautiful idea that our lost babies find their way back to us!!

I can't believe that Niklas is almost 10 months old. He's officially been in the world longer than he was in me!! We have so much fun with him and it's amazing how his presence has crept into every corner of our house. No one could enter our house anymore and not know that there is a baby living here! lol

Hi everyone,

Nat you're wedding pictures are absolutely gorgeous! Id love to get married abroad.. guarantee that you are not going to end up with a wet and windy british day!

I'm feeling quite tired atm, blood tests showed i was anemic been put on iron tablets by the midwife and eating lots of red meat/spinach/bran flakes/drinking oj but yet to feel the benefit.

Caught between finding work quite tiring but also dreading starting maternity leave a bit because i have a feeling Im going to be very bored at home waiting for the baby to arrive. Hopefully ill be able to get caught up in doing christmassy things.

Niklas looks so cute and cheeky! ODN I bet it feels like time is flying atm for you, enjoy him while he's small (not that children arent great but babies grow up far too quickly). Both of my cousins daughters are in primary school now I cant believe it

Hope everyone is taking care, we are currently working on trying to find a middle name to go with Lillie, Tim hasnt been very helpful all he's suggested so far is Millie. Likely! I like Tia or Amelie x x x

Hi girls!!! Wow...no one's posted for about 2 weeks!!! Slackers!

So how are we all? Any updates? Any gossip?

Hayden is now 10 weeks old, and a real pleasure. He is smiling all the time now...and we are now trying to get him in a bit more of a routine...finally! SO he has been going to bed about 8pm for the last few nights, and giving me and Mr ODN a bit of time to ourselves!!! :D

We have just had our first little holiday to Rye (and visited Brighton, Eastbourne, and Camber Sands with Hayden sleeping through all of those trips - beautiful part of the country), and had a fab time. Managed to spend quality time together, away from the house, not worrying about housework, and Mr ODN was around to help with nappies, and playing with Hayden, so we actually got to know our boy a little bit better with no distractions! He seems a lot happier too!

Please update girls....I miss you xxxx :sunglasses:

WoW! The board looks different than the last time I was here!

Natalie- your baby bump is so cute!!! Try to enjoy this last stage of pregnancy (I know it's hard when baby is so big and everything is uncomfortable and all you can think of meeting your baby) congrats on the new car!

ODN- I can't believe Hayden is 10 weeks old already!! I love that age when they start smiling and then stay smiling!! So cute!! (we want pictures please!!) It sounds like things are going really good with being a new mother. 10 weeks old and already giving you and Mr. ODN time to yourselves... wow!! I'm glad you had such a good holiday together!

Niklas is 10 1/2 months. He just got his fifth tooth and number 6 looks like it's going to pop through anytime now. He seems like he's growing up so fast!! I wish time would just stand still sometimes and let me enjoy him as a baby just a bit longer. He's made the transition into his own room and own bed. I'm still nursing but have cut out the "goodnight" nursing session and replaced it with a bottle because he goes to bed between 9 and 10 pm and was being a little terror with his older siblings when they had to babysit. Now that he gets a bottle for that feeding, things are much easier for everyone and Mirko and I have more freedom to go out again. He's going to be a pumpkin for halloween and we tried on his costume and took a few pics.
Here's a link to a slid show with the pictures:

Hi all, great to see some updates...wow our boys are growing up all so fast. Alexander is 20 months now, running, talking and generally behaving like a little boy. Lovely photo of Niklas, he is turning out to be a real stunner and love the pumpkin outfit. Need to see our lovely Hayden! Natalie, wow you look pregnant  enjoy these last weeks and get plenty of sleep. Your little one will be here sooner than you can believe...then suddenly they are off to university!

Anyway, I do have some news...but think I'm gonna wait a few more weeks before I get excited

PS does anyone here have FB?

Hi!

I have just read all the stories on here and it seems like an emotinal book should be wrtten! It was nice to hear about those who finally got pregnant and the stories leading up to pregnancy.

Me and my boyfriend are trying at the mo, came off the pill 4 days in on 22nd September, bled for 2 days 2 days later, nothing for 3 weeks and then I had another period on 19th Oct and have just come off. Wasn't expecting my periods to regulate so quick after being on the pill for 4 years but I am excited!! I hope it happens quickly for me but I am trying not to think about it which is why I am concentrating on moving into my 2 bed flat at the mo... hence the baby making being started!!

I am so excited! Alot of people are announcing their preg at the mo and annoys me cause they abuse their bodies where I don't :( Also really happy for my boyfriend's cousin and his girlfriend as they were trying for 2 years and it finally happened!! They give up but u kno wot they say, stop trying and it happens hence why I am not trying to think about it! Already thought of names and everything but just wanna get on with life as if I wasn't trying... if that makes sense? Any way good luck to everyone and please give me any advice to help get pregnant quickly!!

xxxxx

Yes I've been pretty calm about it all anyway so hopefully it will happen as soon as! I know the pill is murder for coming off it one of the big reasons I came off it in the first place is because if I was on it for too long i may have problems! My cousin took a year to get pregnant because of being on the pill! My friend missed 2 pills and got pregnant! How does that happen???

Nat, I read up on your forum you started and I knew it took you around 6 months to concieve so yes I will take your advice and try not to think about it and just go on and live my life how I would of done normally as if I wasn't trying!

I will def keep you posted, I've just finished my monthly so hopefully this is the month! Was horrible having the first period after being on the pill, aches and pains I haven't felt for 4 years!! Never going back on it again!

Thanks for the reply and any other advice anyone else can give would be much appreciated!

xx
