Needs Advice

hi there, im 24. i have been on an off cerezette now since i was about 19. ive been quite lucky as i tuk to it quite well, didnt have periods that often which was great. i stopped taking cerezette around march this year, and had a periodthe month after. since then i have had regukar periods. me and my boyfriend have been trying for a baby since i came off the pill, with no joy. im so down about it, we have been having sex around the fertile time, but nothing....im due on this sat, and hopeing i dont come on... but knowing my luck lately, i will be regular as clockwork. i dont understand as my periods got back to normal very quickly...

can anyone help me out, do you think being n cerezette so long has made me infertile or sumat dont no how much more heartache i can take of not getting pregnant.

Im 28 and i wasnt on cerezette i was on microgynon 30 (dont know if i spelt that right ) for 9 years and i was just like you having sex around my fertile days getting really upset everytime i came on thinking that that was going to be the month, it is really heartbreaking and upsetting, but what i have learnt is that it just takes time!

I kept asking my doc if id been on the pill to long and if it had made me infertile. he just gave me a funny look and said no!
he said every woman wether they was on the pill or not get pregnant at different times, some straight away others months even years in fact he said its just how it is!

I came of the pill end of last oct and i got pregnant this march and my periods was all over the place!
Its funny cuz getting pregnant took all my time up charts etc i told my hubby we wouldnt try in march cuz i knew it wud be due around xmas so we decorated instead to take our minds of it and just to stop stressing because thats no good to you either!
but low and behold in april i found out i was pregnant and yes it was that weekend we stopped stressing!!

Our baby is due 14th dec which is mad but a great xmas presant for us both!!

All i can say is! it takes time, i know its easy to say but just de-stress over getting pregnant and enjoy trying for a baby!
I know next time im not going to stress and just wait!!
Sorry ive gone on abit, i just know what your going through and it is hard!!

aww thank u so much for your reply, i kept checking hopeing sum1 would help, but nufin till i saw u had..... im not preg this month, came on few days earlier than normal.... yet another dissapointing month. i have ordered a fertility test n ovulation kits and was advised to start takin folic acid for preperation. which im gonna giv it a go.... never no hey..
but just wanted to say thanks for takin the time to reply, n makin me feel a bit better bout the whole baby thing...
