Katrina Kaif's Email Scam

Not even Bollywood is immune from email scams as Katrina Kaif has discovered.

An impersonator has been emailing producers, directors, coordinators, Hollywood agents and media agents pretending to be the Bollywood babe, using the email address katrinakaif84@hotmail.com.

A source said: "It looks like this impersonator is obsessed with Katrina but little does he/she realise that it is absolutely unethical to send out emails posing as someone else. Katrina is quite hassled."

The source revealed that Katrina only discovered the impersonation last week: "Last week a lady journalist called Katrina and told her she had received an email from her. Katrina was shocked because she had not sent an email to that journalist. That's when she realised that somebody was impersonating her and fooling people."

Katrina confirmed: "I clarified with the journalist that I had not sent any email to her. My manager and official spokesperson have been inundated with calls from people who think that I have contacted them. I am perplexed."

She added: "I hereby clarify that I have no email ID which reads katrinakaif84@hotmail.com. There are some facebook accounts bearing my name but I don't have a facebook account either."
