I can’t remember actually but it refers to the songs about life and inner life but there is always some blueness and melancholy within that. Lonely in a modern way is just my comment which means that it doesn’t really matter if you are lonely in a modern or post-modern way or even in a classic way because it’s part of life for people to experience loneliness and we do everything we can to make it disappear and pretend it doesn’t exist and it makes us look a bit funny sometimes and we just wanted to investigated that loneliness in a pop [music] form.

What makes your band different from all the other new bands which are coming onto the music scene at the moment?

There is a lot of pop music around, but not necessarily great song-writing and I think that if you listen to the album you would recognise that it is different as it houses a mix between the British and Scandinavian influences in our life.

If you had to compare your music to another band, who would it be?

That’s quite difficult because I don’t think we don’t sound like anyone else but it’s probably a mix of the rocking sound of the Arctic Monkeys and Editors as well as the 80’s sounds of Eurhythmics and Annie Lennox. Also the pop band the Cardigans and Tori Amos. All these bands are very different though, so it’s very hard for me to say because I think we’re different but the female voice may remind people of certain singers but I hope we just sound like ourselves.

If you could collaborate with anyone, who would it be and why?

Annie Lennox, although she sings differently from me I just think she’s a goddess, she is really something special.

You went on tour with Alphabeat who are massive in Scandinavia, how did the public receive you?

It was a very good experience for us, we really had a good response from the audience; we are very confident on our live sets.

Do you have a large following back home?

Yes, very much so in Denmark and Germany but we haven’t really done anything in the UK yet and I think we’re just over once on our tour so we’ll see how we go.

How does it feel coming to the UK where you are relatively unknown?

We find it a very exploding experience and we love it! We really love London, that is the only place we have played so far in the UK but we think the Danish people can learn a lot from British people because they are very open-minded and welcoming and interesting so for us it’s just great.

Are you nervous about your new single ‘Slave to your Charms’?

Yes, you have to be a little bit nervous, I think but not too much! You have to have some anticipation and excitement as well though but also I must admit I am a little bit nervous.

What do you have planned for the future?

Touring the UK, Germany and Holland as well as Denmark of course and then China and Japan in the autumn. That’s all for now but in 2009 I don’t know the exact plans but it will involve a lot of touring and a new album as well.

Are you looking forward to seeing so much of the world?

I love it, it’s fantastic, it’s hard to come down sometimes when you come home after playing a lot of gigs. It gives you inspiration when you meet people who do things differently because Denmark is very small and tidy and maybe people from England would describe it as ‘Boring’ and maybe they’re right so it’s nice to go and see other places and other ways of life because otherwise you think that your way is the only way to live.
