Heath Ledger's final film is in doubt because it has not yet found a distributor.
Heath was still filming 'The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus' before his death of an accidental drugs overdose in January, and despite the positive reviews - with many tipping him for an Oscar - he has received for his portrayal as The Joker in new Batman movie 'The Dark Knight', his final film is not expected to do as well with studio bosses reluctant to sign a distribution deal because writer and director Terry Gilliam hasn't had a commercially successful film since 1995's 'Twelve monkeys'.
One distribution executive told the Hollywood Reporter: "In this market, unless I have a reason to think a movie like this is going to be a slam dunk I'm not going to take a flyer on it, even with Heath Ledger."
Another source said: "For all the elements in this film, it is a Terry Gilliam picture, and as much as you want a movie of his to be good, you have to be careful."
Filming on the movie was halted following Heath's death. Producers later recruited Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell to play "transformations" of his character Tony as he travels through dimensions in the fantasy-adventure.
'The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus' is currently scheduled to be released next year.

I want to see this movie. I hope nothing happens to its release.
