Jennifer Lopez's Doctor Fear....
Jennifer Lopez refused to undergo treatment when she suffered a crippling mini-nervous breakdown in 2002 - because she dislikes psychiatrists.
The new mum admits she reached breaking point while filming Enough and was left unable to talk or move, but she ignored relatives and friends who urged her to seek medical help.
She tells website The Daily Beast, "There was a time when I was very overworked and I was doing music and movies and so many things.
"I was suffering from a lack of sleep. And I did have a kind of nervous breakdown. I froze up on set. I was like, 'I don't want to move, I don't want to talk, I don't want to do anything'. I had a nervous breakdown.
"I kept saying, 'I'm not weak, I'm not weak'. It's funny what tricks your mind plays on you. I just didn't want people to think I was falling apart".
Lopez was eventually forced to see a doctor after she was bundled offset into a car by her bodyguard - but she refused to take the medic's advice.
She adds, "I've still never been to a shrink. I'm not a shrinky person".
