Watch the worlds fasted men discuss the ultimate showdown in the Capital
The world’s fastest man Usain Bolt has confirmed today he will be competing at the Aviva London Grand Prix next week, the last major event before the Beijing Olympics.
In what is shaping up to be the strongest grand prix line-up ever seen in the UK, the pre-Olympic showdown will see the newly crowned 100m world record holder go head to head with both the current world champion Tyson Gay, and the former world record holder and fellow countryman Asafa Powell, in one of athletics’ most eagerly anticipated clashes.
The Aviva London Grand Prix will be held at Crystal Palace on 25 & 26 July, the first time in 23 years it has been held over two days. With the Olympics just two weeks later, the event is set to attract 360 athletes from 35 nations, and will feature the majority of medal favourites for Beijing
